could this be used to frement

I can get a couple of these a month for free from my work. Would these be good for frementing beer and wine?

It says they're food grade. I would think they would be just fine for fermenting. It's just like a huge plastic bucket. Are you going to bump up to 40 gallon batches? :shock:

Yeah, it should work fine. I use 15 gallon plastic barrels for my 10 gallon batches. They are a bit of a pain to clean... but work fine.

I think they would be fine. I think you can even get food grade liners that might make cleanup even easier. Or you can scale up Doc's carboy/keg cleaner to gargantuan proportions... :)
