I hit them hard with CLP and crocus cloth before I mailed them bc I didn't want some dogs sniffing out the residue in the "post office" and me in turn getting NJP'ed or worse. I had to disguise them pretty well so the postal clerk didn't figure out what was going on. When he pulled them out I told him they were caps to protect the head of the round and he fell for it. POG's.

Anyhow, I'll break them in tonight...

I am currently overseas and have saved a few 40 mike mike shells along with some 25 mm. the 25mm i think I'm just going to have dipped in gold and the primmer covered in white gold. however i wanted to make shot glasses out of the 40mm. have any of you found a good way to do this yet? i have been looking for shot glasses to put inside but can't find any the right size and hesitant to drink directly out of them. what about also dipping these in gold? would that be safe to drink from?

Gold is perfectly safe- non-reactive to anything but aqua regia.
