DeGroens Weizen

On tap at the Old Dominion 7th Annual Beer Festival, June 28, 2003. Poured out a cloudy, yellowish color, like a typical wheat beer should. Fluffy white head that clung to the sides of the glass. Aromas of bananas, bubble gum, faint cloves in the background. Thick and chewy in texture. Plenty of malts make up the backbone of this beer as well. Crisp, refreshing, and palate pleasing too. I would buy this beer again, if I saw it in the store. Makes an excellent lawnmower thirst quencher.
