I've done the same thing great thing is that is usually floats like a black and tan you should be able to siphon off below the majority of the Star san. I just siphoned to the keg and left the SS and it was ok .

Its funny I have brewed about 150 batches of beer and this is the first time I have done something this stupid.

We short bussers do something that stupid, or worse, on a regular basis! 1 for 150 - I'd be looking over my shoulder for the Karma police.
