Mountain brew

Ok I was caught in the chat and the subject of a mountain dew beer came up so here is a recipe. 4.5 pounds of 2 row malt and enough water to mash a 2.5 gallon batch 1/4 oz of hallertauer at 45 mins 1/4 oz at 15 mins . Once you have 2.5 gallons of this then you just top it up with 2.5 gallons of mountain dew and ferment with a clean american ale yeast 1056 001 or 05 work just fine.

No, I have read about this somewhere... Maybe BYO or some newer brew book. Not sure where, can just remember I've 'heard' of it some while back.
