Belgian Golden Ale Carbonation

Fri May 18, 2007 1:37 pm

I am thinking about brewing a batch of Belgian golden ale soon. I keg and force carbonate, but is that appropriate for this style? Should I condition it naturally? Is there really a difference? I know this may be subjective, but I am curious. Not in the JP way though.

Not sure if force carbonation will affect it. I know that Chimay kegs one of their styles but I am unsure of what method they would use. Sorry!

I think natural carbonation gives belgians some of the more rounded flavours than forced carb. 8g/Liter dextrose should do the job
