I infiltrated the US about 25 years ago. Before then I was a Sydneysider for a few years before moving to Ingleside, between Sydney and Newcastle. Unfortunately when I first got to the US, Paul Hogan hadn't become famous, so I got ridiculed for my accent (tough on a 12-year old). I worked like hell to get rid of it and now sound pretty much like a local.
I went to a prep school too, so I never soaked up much of the idioms that Americans think of as Ozspeak. Lufah's link has a bunch of terms I've never run across, though some of my Dad's mates would probably be familiar with them.
