Visiting San Francisco

Hi folks,

I'm going to be in SF for a week (for work) from 16th-22nd November. I doubt I'll have a huge amount of free time so where are the must-see/must-drink places? I'll be staying just off Market Street downtown.

Russian River should be the highest priority for sure if you can get there. Make sure to stop at Lagunitas in Petaluma on the way up.

For breakfast, consider visiting Cafe Golo in the Marina / Cow Hollow district. Freaking fantastic in my opinion. Go for the Steak 'n' Taters. Mmmm.
I try not to miss it when I'm out there. The owners are awesome too.

+1 I also made it up to Bear Republic when out there; a bit further up 101 than RR, but good food and a good list of beers.

In the city are 21A (21st Amendment) and Anchor; I didn't make it to either one but I hear good things. 21A has a brew pub and Anchor (I'm told) is just tours, which you have to schedule in advance, decide for yourself if touring a brewery is worth the time.

Lastly, if you really want to go deaf, or the weather is nice enough to be outside, check out Southern Pacific, good nano brewery with a good number of beers, split between their own and guest taps.
