Input on Mosaic, Centennial, Amarillo blend in APA

Tue Jun 11, 2013 4:53 pm

Anyone had a good outcome blending Amarillo and Mosaic without the Amarillo stepping all over the mosaic.
Figure OG of 54, FG around 12. FW Centennial. then hop burst from 10 to whirlpool blending the three. Have also considered Sorachi Ace and or Galaxy. All pellets. Right now I am figuring my KO hops as a 20 mn addition for BUs.

Thouths
Cheers

yes, in my IPAs I do equal parts just as you describe with some cascade and centennial too...the mosaic is a pretty strong one itself and should hold up fine...dry hop with the same blend and you should have a killer apa
On Deck: porter, berliner weisse
Fermenting: xtra pale
In the keg/bottle: golden delicious apple cider, brown rice lager, german pils

Thanks ET!
If it can stand up to Cascade, it sure as hell can stand up to Amarillo!
Plan on bumping this up to an IPA iteration as well!
Though I might wait for Galaxy on that!
