Getting ready to brew this recipe. The only thing I don't have is the cara-pils is this just for head retention? Should I run out and get some?

The wheat is for head retention... The carapills adds body and some color. It probably wont be a huge deal if you don't add it but if its not too hard to get I'd say its worth a few min drive to the store.

Carapils will contribute to head retention and body, but at <2L, won't add color.

Looking through the thread and I'm not seeing many fg numbers. What is a desirable fg for the JBA?

I'm thinking about brewing this again in the next few days and doing a twist by pitching some Wyeast kolsch (2565 I think).
