It would be great to include a few highly recommended bottle shops ... gotta stock my reserves for pre-conference drinking and post 2:am beverages.

Most of the bottle shops, will be a car/cab ride away. If you are staying at or near host hotel, there is a QFC grocery store within stumbling distance, near Bellevue Square. You will find a good cross section, of northwest beers. Selection is somewhat pedestrian, but will give you good sampling of the local/regional beers.

Bottle Shops-

Malt and Vine - 1651 Redmond Way, Redmond, WA has a great selection of domestics, and beers from all over. Has a number (approx 10) local/regional beers on tap while you shop. No food served here but you can bring in from outside. The owner (Doug) is a former homebrewer, and strong supporter of homebrewers.

Bottleworks- 1710 N. 45th, Seattle WA is an ecclectic collection of beers from all over, with a good representation of the Seattle suds. Also serves a handful of craft beer on tap. They are probably more well known, as the sister business to Brouwer's Cafe, which hosts multiple types of events (think Barleywine, Stoutfest, exotic Beers, and boutique Scotch??)

Chuck's Hop Shop- 656 NW 85th St., Seattle WA is your blue collar no pretenses bottle shop. 23 beers on tap, in the back, surrounded by a bunch of 2 and 3 door coolers full of beer. You think it's a conv store when you walk in...just keep on going to the back. Proceeds from their tastings generally go to help local charities and food banks.

Those are the one's i've been to, in the last few months. By no means a complete list but will get you started...

Also, if you are going to BNA7, Full Throttle Bottles is about 5 blocks south of Elysian on airport way. And if you are into historical buildings, the original Rainier Brewery is across the street from the Full Throttle. It's a very cool old brick campus of buildings.
