The King is in the building! NB foot soldier and determined yeast junky Jeremy King (you remember him from Episode 4, right?) is back with yet another twisted yeast experiment. This time he's trying wrangle wild yeast from his environs in Milwaukee, WI for eventual commercial use. He's got a very interesting way of going about it - utilizing a coolship. Wild yeast, microscopes, fire, and fermented fish. You never know what you're going to get when you're hanging out with J-King. Prepare to be - KING'D!

I watched this episode today. I cannot wait to see the tasting notes on the wild yeast beer.

Yeah it will be cool to see how it turns out. I want to know more how he separates the bad bacteria from the yeast.
The fermented fish though made me gag :?

Very cool episode, I'm jealous of all the brews Jeremy has fermenting in his basement, makes me want to brew a little more. Would be awesome to have him and Lakefront Brewery on the SS sometime in the future.

Great episode. I can only imagine how that scuzzy, greasy film that was scraped off must have smelled.
A sample should've been sent to the lympics committee for a new event.
