I hear you and agree, the event is important, the date is not so much.
I have stocked up on hot dogs, apple pie, Oreos and US booze to celebrate tomorrow (
Independence Day and coincidently July 4) as I am not rostered to work.
Teddy the staffy (named after the 26th US President) won't be celebrating July 8 as that is the day his nuts get chopped off, ouch.
