NHC 2012 Venue Announced!

Small world. My wife briefly attended Susquehanna. (There's a good brewpub in Selinsgrove, BTW.) We live in Elysburg. Ever heard of Knoebel's amusement park?

Yup, been to Knoebel's. I know all about the brewpub in Selinsgrove. Steve, the owner/brewer was my oil painting instructor my freshman year of college.

You'll have to PM me if you're ever in the area. We have a plethora of new brewpubs: 1 in Danville; 1 in Milton/Lewisburg; and 2 in Bloomsburg.

Only downfall is that it's on the east side of Seattle. Bellevue has no craft breweries except for one that's in the works.

There's a couple cool places on the east side but not many. Then again, why would you be out at the bars/breweries in the area when all the beer you could want is in one place.

Either way, I'm gonna try to go. I'm kind of MIA with the homebrew club I'm with just cuz of school and work taking up all my time. But I'd love to go, especially if BNA7 is going to be up here. Lots of goods places up here for the guys to set up shop.

I live in the Northeastern end of the state, about 1-1/2 hours north of Harrisburg, near the Susquehanna River. It's a few hours from Philly. I've heard rumors about Philly for the NHC for some time, but it never seems to happen.

More specifically? I grew up in Wyalusing and went to college at Susquehanna. My wife is from Tunkhannock.

My favorite smallmouth spot is located in that area of Pennsyltucky.
