I usually keg my beer, but when I do bottle I ALWAYS use table sugar and John Palmer's nomograph from How to Brew and never have any problems. I don't see the point in buying corn sugar when I already have table sugar and it work every bit as well. If you do use the corn syrup, I would guess that you would need less by weight as I believe it has a much higher concentration of sugar. Also, please don't believe the 3/4 cup corn sugar for every batch that I once did. It doesn't work well and I have had had bottles explode!!
