For what's it worth, I do not extract brew anymore, but had great results with the following recipe. Extract only. you do not have to use the Phenolic producing yeast as I did. You can make this more of an American Wheat by yeast selection.

Amount Item Type % or IBU
3.00 lb Extra Light Dry Extract (3.0 SRM) Dry Extract 50.00 %
3.00 lb Wheat Dry Extract (8.0 SRM) Dry Extract 50.00 %

1.00 oz Goldings, B.C. [5.00 %] (60 min) Hops 17.9 IBU

0.75 oz Coriander Seed (Boil 15.0 min) Misc
0.75 oz Orange Peel, Bitter (Boil 15.0 min) Misc
0.75 oz Orange Peel, Sweet (Boil 15.0 min) Misc

2 Pkgs Belgian Witbier (Wyeast Labs #3944) Yeast-Wheat
Conical Fermenter - Amber Lager
Keg#1 Dunkel
Keg#2 Helles
Keg#3 Flanders Red

Well shit, if that's the case it's very confusing of them to put that disclaimer on the flaked oats information page.

In the fermentor:
In my head: Double Irish Red, Belgian Wit
