How long to clear?

Wed Aug 11, 2010 1:27 pm

I kegged an IPA over the weekend and will have two weeks before I will be drinking it. Should it be clear by then? I will have to bottle for a friend and was hoping it would not have much sediment. Can I add gelitan after 3 days of carbing?

Thanks

Hit it with gelatin. It rules.

absolutely. Just vent the keg, open the lid, pour in your bloomed and simmered (to sanitize) gelatin solution, lid up, swirl to distribute, back in the cooler, gas up, and wait a few days.
