San Diego was the bid that was ready to go and we got the most awesome deal on an awesome hotel ever. We've never been in a position to do SD before since the room rates were too expensive.

I can tell you that we have groups from the East Coast putting together bid packages, so the conference will get back to the East.

It's a lot of work to pull one of these off - I'm sure they'll make the east coast IF some clubs step it up and put together a good bid. As much as I would like to see one here, I doubt there will ever be one in Hawaii as the brewing community here is pretty small.
