I used the Traditional Bock recipe from BCS. I don't think you need to swirl beforehand, it was after the residual ice melted while still with the beer that I had a problem, You won't have that problem since you are leaving the ice behind in the bucket. If you decide you froze too much and have to let some of the ice melt and then transfer that water into the keg with the beer, then you will want to make sure it is mixed up in the keg.

Mine turned out pretty good. In one comp the eisbock got a silver and the bock got a bronze. The bock got a couple of golds when it was younger.
