What's a scottie?
3 gal keg. It's just a little guy, like Dr. Scott.

You can purchase a paintball CO2 tank, they are compact and are a lot cheaper to fill than cartridges. The bonus is that they work just like a full size CO2 tank so you don't need to monkey with the gas during dispensing (the downside of course is that they require a regulator). You can get a paintball
on/off to connect from the tank directly to your regulator's CGA-320, or buy a
quick fill adapter and either hard pipe it into your regulator 'in' port or use a paintball remote. A 20 oz tank is about $20 and $4 to fill, and the shutoff is $20 or quick fill adapter is $10.
