Best way to transport/serve homebrew

Brewing 10-gal of APA tomorrow for a Family Reunion on July 17th Weekend (hoping its not too early to brew it). What do you think is most compact and easiest way to transport/dispense. I am driving to my parents' house 5-hours away for one night (no fridge there to store). Then off to our reunion about 3 hours away.

Thinking either modified cooler to hold keg or spring for a draft box/build a draft box. OR bottle it all up in 22s.

I would take a storage tub, just big enough for two corny kegs, put it in my car, then stack a few bags of ice in. Then dispense with a cobra tap. You could try to rend a jocky box but I would still try to keep the beer cold if it were me.

Thinking same thing....planning on 5-gal to family reunion, 5-gallons for me at home..its my 2nd time with Tasty's APA and I am splitting the yeast again between 001 and 007, but this time I'll be able to stir plate both starters.

I to would go with the barrel, keep some ice in it for the drive maybe, you would also need one of those portable co2 dispencers unless you want to lug the whole co2 bottle it self.

You can purchase a paintball CO2 tank, they are compact and are a lot cheaper to fill than cartridges. The bonus is that they work just like a full size CO2 tank so you don't need to monkey with the gas during dispensing (the downside of course is that they require a regulator). You can get a paintball on/off to connect from the tank directly to your regulator's CGA-320, or buy a quick fill adapter and either hard pipe it into your regulator 'in' port or use a paintball remote. A 20 oz tank is about $20 and $4 to fill, and the shutoff is $20 or quick fill adapter is $10.
