Replacement O-rings

Hey guys, this has probably been asked before, but my LHBS is out of stock on replacement o-rings and I just picked up 2 cornys. Could I just go to Lowes/Home Depot and pick some up? I would order them online, but I want them now. Instant gratification and all.

I know that this isn't what you asked and it doesn't give you instant gratification, but I just ordered replacement lid, post and dip tube o-ring from McMaster Carr on Monday and got them today. Total was $60 with enough o-rings to re-fit 40 kegs, so I split it with club members. The prices are a little off, but here are the part numbers from one of Badrock's old posts.

Here are the McMaster Carr part numbers for the o-rings that fit the ball-lock kegs:

Are the dip tube o-rings the same as the ones Jamil mentioned recently on the "Package-Ganza?" He mentioned a flatter type that may even seal when tightened finger-tight,

The quad-seal dip tube rings from mcmaster are 90025K368 ($4.46/100). Sorry no link, I just happened to have my last invoice from them sitting on my desk.

I also order silicone for the posts instead of the ones mentioned - I use 9396K24 ($10.71/100)

Thnx...found it. They look just like the ones I have the seal good on my kegs. How do you like them? Also, have you seen any different color silicone post rings? I tend to use green rings for all my gas posts and blue/black for the liquid side.

Honestly I could care less what color they are. I number each keg so I can keep track of when they've been cleaned, dismantled & inspected. As for gas vs. liquid - it only takes a second, literally, to look for the marking. If I wanted to make it quicker, I'd mark all the gas sides with a small mark of paint on the rubber handle, but again, that quick look for the stamped marking is good enough for me. I'm not filling enough kegs in one session to make those compiled seconds worth it (60 kegs would only be 1 extra minute)

That's cool. Because of how my kegs sit in my fridge, it's tough to see when I pull/replace Q/Ds, so for posts I switched all my gas posts to green o-rings (Northern Brewer).
