My parents neighbors co-own Diamond Knot in Mukilteo. I wonder if I can ask them to do a meet at their Brewery up the speedway from where the bar is at.

I'm up for coming out on Tuesday night. I am out of town until then.... All of the places mentioned sound good, but steering clear of downtown sounds like a good idea for easier parking...

I think staying to the non-downtown districts would be easiest for everyone. Brouwer's, Uber, Hale's, or even Black Raven out in Redmond (since it's next door for me :D )

Black Raven is closed Mondays. But looks like they're open until 9 other weeknights.

Beaux just told me that they're open mondays now, so we're good to go for there if anyone's interested. They're brand new, and making some of the most solid beers around, so it's definitely worth putting on the short list.

Lots of good suggestions so far for places to check out. I'd recommend suggesting places that will be more of a local flavor, and not something they can all get back home like Gordon Biersch, though they are fantastic. I personally am not as big of a fan of a lot of our more popular local breweries, though I don't think any of them make any sub-par beer. I just think a lot of the best ones are a bit more off the beaten path.

And if the frenchies are coming, there are a few local pico-sized breweries producing beer on basically homebrew setups. If they want to check any of those places out to get any kind of inspiration, I can call around to see if we can get you in to any of them. The best one I know of is really only open on fridays and saturdays, and they're in like a 200' sq ft storage unit. But it's a pretty cool deal they have going.

For the meetup, what say everyone for either one of the following:
7pm Monday at:
1. Brouwer's- Lots of variety, plenty of large tables
2. Hale's- A few really awesome beers (and a few so-so). Really impressive brew system to admire
3. Black Raven- Really solid lineup of beer. We could get a table back in the brewery. Easy parking and access

So apparently they've left for the trip. I'm following BN on Twitter. They're stopping at Russian River, and obviously they won't be here till the weekend.

Just so we don't risk coming to any last minute decisions and confuse everyone, let's do Black Raven at 7 on Monday. It seems that most of the active BNers on here live on the East Side or up north, so this seems like the easiest for the most amount of people. I'll give Beaux the heads up tonight that it's a big possibility we'll be bringing in a group of BN :asshat: s

7PM Monday
Black Raven Brewing
14679 NE 95th St
(between Bike Path & N 151st Ave)
Redmond, WA 98052
(425) 881-3020
http://www.blackravenbrewing.com

We can order pizza from Flying Saucer across the street and they'll deliver. So if everyone wants to pitch in, we'll call it in. I don't think a lot of the Seattle area BNers are reading this thread, so let's PM anyone who might be interested like BDawg, Tavish, noremorse1, etc.
