Well, I'm at 36 hours and no visible signs. My aeration bubbles have now all subsided too.

I love it. My ales always ferment in a chest freezer so I don't get the profile.

LOL!!! Yeah, bro! We wrote "NOT FOR KIDS" on the bottle. We made some Apple Pie (Apple Juice, Apple Cider, Everclear) for my son's birthday party. We didn't want the other parents getting their kids "apple juice" on accident.

Yeast are working as advertised! I wish I knew what strain it was... Mystery ingredients for the Big Brew.

Am I the only one who stares at fermenting beer? I fucking love that shit!

heh that's great..sometimes when I bring in some dark beer in a 2liter bottle into work to share, I write THIS IS NOT SODA on it.

yeah lets hope your mystery brew is good but not GREAT cuz then you'll go nuts trying to figure out what was in it.

re: watching fermenting beer, I'm pretty sure that's a lot less Rain Man-y than when I sit down to watch the front-loading washer running. But I like to watch the beer too. Not so easy when it's in the fridge.
