adding a pic to your name for posting

Can someone please tell me how to put a pic on the left side every time I post? I don't know what you call it, if it's like a signature picture or what, I'm referring to the one that identifies the poster under his/her name each time they post. Thanx in advance.

You have to go to your Profile page. All the way at the bottom is an option to add an avatar. But it looks like as if you need to have it available on a web-server somehow.

Does anyone know how to upload an avatar w/o having on a web-server?

hi there, trying to add a picture, but when i try to upload one to photobucket it bins out half way through and goes to the cannot find server screen. any ideas? thanks.

I wish I could help, I figured out how to post here from photobucket but I just started using photobucket and I haven't had any probs uploading so far. Keep trying to get it to work though as I found it's the easiest to use as it will automatically resize a photo if it's too big, while I found other free hosting sites you have to resize them before you upload. Good luck.
