What a mess

Fri Feb 20, 2009 9:36 am

Last night I was making a starter for my brew session this weekend.. I had the starter on the stove getting hot and it didn't seem to be at the boiling point yet so I stepped into the garage to grab a brew.... Next thing ya know the wife is yelling and there is a liter of starter all over the place... darn thing boiled over that quick... oh well live and learn...

I hear you. Foam control is your friend. Either that or a 10000ml flask.

Charlie P's famous quote is applicable in this situation - "A watched pot never boils, but when that pot boils - you better be watching."
