Amen to that, brother... amen to that.

So I checked the gravity last night and it's still at about 1.020... so I decided to let it go for a few more days in primary. I'm going to add vanilla tonight. Probably half of what the recipe calls for (yesterday I opened up a year old vanilla porter and the vanilla was still pretty prominent...). The spices tasted pretty good, even though the gravity was still pretty high, so I may not mess with them after all.

I just did this recipe last week. I did a couple of things different, I did yams not pumpkin and I pitched mine with WLP300(the german hefe yeast) I plan to dump(also in conical) later this week and add the vanilla. Let me know how adding half the vanilla goes..
