Controlling temperature during conditioning?

Tue Nov 11, 2008 4:42 pm

Hey there, I just purchased a temperature control setup. I'm trying to brew at least once a week, so I was wondering if I could get away with using it mainly for primary fermentation, then switching it into a new batch, leaving the previous batch to condition at room temperature (Basement, 65ish during the day, 62-64 at night).

Thanks,
Paul.

Should be fine.
At the moment I just use a closet for the whole fermentation. No need for a fridge with a controller. I just got to keep the beer warm enough.

But.
some English strains like to shut down under 65 or so degrees.
