Re: Jamil & Peter's Road Trip to NHC

On the trip back with the family, I'll be stopping in Billings and Missoula. I'll post the dates/locations as I get it figured out. I think Missoula is July 3rd in the afternoon. Billings is Tuesday June 29th for dinner.

Feel free to come by and join us for a beer. The kids are used to people saying hi and having a beer. Just keep the discussion family friendly.
I hope my post helped in some way. If not, please feel free to contact me.

If you need a place to stretch your legs in middle North Dakota...

...I know a guy...just give me a heads-up...

There's not a whole lot out here, but there are homebrew clubs in Fargo, Bismarck, and Dickinson that would take care of you.
Bottle: Lonely Beer Party Bitter, Mildly Amused, Saison Du Biz (two fermentors with slightly different ferm. temps), Noah's Parti Bitter

Fermentor: Noahs Parti Wine-o

Awesome!
If you find a stop is needed around Livingston [Montana], they have a nice little brew pub there that has some Thai dishes--among other things: Neptune's Brewery http://www.neptunesbrewery.com . The Thai Bison Burger I had when I was there recently was AMAZING. A lot of their beers on tap--eight I think. The assistant brewer there is trying to come up with the kind of Weihnachtsbier we both separately experienced in Germany, but just has dialed the perfect on in yet. On a side note, the best beer I've ever had was a Weihnachtsbier in Germany at the Mainz-Kastel Brauhaus. I'm sure he'd love some advise from Mr. Malty.
I'd love to have a beer with the Master then, but I'll be in Mississippi--at least I won't be too far from Lazy Magnolia.

Unfortunately, I think we're going to miss out on Livingston. We're headed up to Glacier and then back down the other side, so we'll end up missing that chunk of I-90.

Which Y&Y are you at? I'm sure both Peter and I would be up for it, though I'm not sure what the timing might be like.
