Had to represent my local in my hometown. Wore the Hop Grenade at the awards ceremony, though!

Congrats to you Alabama asshats.....but fuck you for moving your comp to the same week-end as mine!!! You bastards stole some judges that had already committed to me!!! But had a great group come over from La. to judge, and it went great for our first ever comp. 54 entries in 5 categories. Next year it will be open to ALL brewers, not just Ms. brewers.

Cheers asshats.....see you at ECBF in Sept!!! :pop :pop :drink :drink

Congrats to both of you!

Now next year, separate the comps so you can each get more judges and the judges can judge more comps-

The date move was out of our hands. There were delays in obtaining the license, so it had to get moved back. I agree, it sucks, but it is what it is. Next year the organizers should be able to get the ball rolling earlier.

Yeah, no worries brotha, we were small enough this year that we could get away with it, and we actually had to move ours up a week to the 20th so it wouldn't interfere with another event on the 27th......next year we will have this shift down better!!!

You coming down to ECBF?? If so, see ya there!!

Winners list

I have a bone to pick with you about that. My Rauchbier was the same one that won BOS at the War of the Wort. I seem to remember a certain someone being on both BOS judging panels...

Hey I can't complain too much, two golds and a bronze. Plus my Rauchbier is batting 100% for gold medals...
