I remember when you couldn't get this beer east of the Rockies, unless Big Billy Bubba snuck some across in the back of his big rig. Pours out a dark, golden color, with plenty of white foam for a head. The head fades away, however, leaving a curtain of bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass. Tastes about like you'd expect. Grainy, corny, and somewhat metallic. I think this beer has much more flavor than Bud or Millers. At least you can taste the malts, albeit thin in body and on the palate. Not too much in the way of hoppiness, but some bitterness at the finish of this beer. Finishes kind of dry as well. Certainly not the best example of a pale lager I've ever had.
