In love - Corsendonk agnus Triple

Tue Jan 29, 2008 1:19 pm

Got my shipment of Belgians last week and I just dove into it.

Out of the 9-10 styles and brands I had on hand, I must say that the Corsendonk Agnus Triple is now one of my favorites.

First off, be careful pouring, this puppy has a huge head. Very clear and golden color. Smells amazing. Fruity yet the hops give it a perfect balance. Comes onto the lips and into the back of the mouth with the same taste but seems to have this crisp aftertaste that balances and brings everything together. The head stays up and fluffy for the entire time and THAT is somehting I love.
I hate when beers change appearance in the first 3-4 minutes. I enjoy a beer that can hold for the entire pint.

Trust me, this beer is worth it. The only regret is that I only ordered ONE.

You're right shunt. Corsendonk is an excellent beer. I especially like the Agnus with the Christmas Ale being a close second.

They also produce a cheese I'd love to get my hands on!
