I was wondering if anyone had a clone recipe. I found a couple on beertools but I would rather get a recipe from an anonymous place that I can talk to rather then just an anonymous person.

So how about it? Any takers?

I do realize that I probably won't have pac man yeast. I can survive as long as it's close... and it gets me drunk.

Thanks guys!

+1. This is one of my all time favorites. I've never tried to clone this because I assumed it was brewed with a lager style (and I have temp control challenges in Arizona). If it can brewed with typical ale procedure I'm all ears (err...make that all eyes)

Sweet! If I knew you were female, and I wasn't married (and drunk) I"d totally kiss you, and maybe other stuff.
But I am drunk, married, and chances are, you're a guy

Thanks so much!
Matt

Sweet thanks again. I'll make sure to attribute this to you.

Quick question, have you actually brewed this? What I was finding on beertools.com was mostly recipes with the 1056.

Slightly different hop bill, but I'll trust you on this since it's from a magazine.

Cheers!

I started with that recipe but mainly made my recipe off the Rogue website. Here is one that I brew pretty regularly and have got good reviews on it. It isn't nuts perfect yet but it is damn good I think.

I think you might want to cut back on some of the caramunich on my recipe just a little, I think that was one tweak I was going to do. I am going to look at my past notes and let you know.

EDIT: Yep, I would cut back on the crystal and caramunich additions a little based on my notes. I also think they use American 2-row, but I like MO so much and usually don't have plain American 2-row on hand.

BTW, generally, the clone brews recipes are not even close to the beers. FYI
