Stout and CO2

Sun Dec 24, 2006 9:31 pm

Hi,

I went to a local brewer who has a time when you can stop in and fill up the growlers. You can also get a free taste. I got a taste of his stout and i thought it was way too bitter. Since he had it (most likely) pushed with the same CO2 pressure as the other ales, what ar the chances that the bitterness was from the carbonic flavors?

Ok, pretty good I guess. I listened to Jamil show on dry stouts and he seemed to says that 2.5 is a high level.

If it is from the CO2, will that flavor dispurse with the CO2?
