Question about finings

Ok, so, I got a lot of help from you guys with a recipe for using non-flavored gelatin to clarify my beer in the corny keg. My new question is, I have two beers fermenting in slim quarter kegs and am about ready to transfer them to corny kegs (I started cold crashing them Saturday night). Would you recommend my putting the gelatin mixture in the fermenters and let them sit for a couple of days OR transfer them to the kegs and put the gelatin mixture in?

What would be the best solution? Been brewing for about 10 years but am new to using finings.

Thank you in advance for your help!
Darin Christopher

Sure! Hit them with gelatin now and give it a few days to settle out.
You'll have sparkling beer going into your kegs that way.

That's the other beautiful thing about using a secondary as a bright tank. You can cold crash and fine in there after letting it age off the yeast cake. Brighter beer.
