Best cold temp to force carb

Is there a preferred temp range to force carb at? I store at 38-40 degrees in a chest freezer and the psi chart i utilize (link below) suggests a small psi for the beers i am carbonating. My Q is will it take longer to carb at these colder temps? Can i pump more in for a shorter period to achieve the same volume of Co2 and just taste until i'm where i want?

Thanks for any input.

I just set mine at the serving pressure that I desire, for the temp that I have my freezer set at.....and set it, and forget it, for about a week-2 weeks, come out perfect every time!!!

My keezer is set about the same temp as yours an has 5' serving lines. I start at 30psi and back it off by 5psi each day for 5 days and it's right where I want it.

All times are UTC - 8 hours
