Has anyone attempted to server out of a bottling bucket style container?
I was thinking of priming 5 gallons and serving it cask style for a party--i know huge obligation to get my friends to kill 5 gallons--
I was planning on popping a valve into the lid of a bucket. The only things I was worried about would be 1) would the bucket hold the pressure 2) I would need some sort of breather to equalize the pressure.
The pressure part I was going to solve with a little bit of scrap wood and build a cradle(which I would going to also use to keep it still while serving) that would strap the lid down tight.
The vacuum forming came to me today, how to handle that?
Or am I being completely silly... but figured a fun way to kick some beer.
