Blichmann Beer Gun - 2 thumbs up

Sun Jul 25, 2010 4:43 pm

About 2 years ago I purchased a Blichmann beer gun and up until yesterday had only taken it out of the box a couple of times, looked at it, then put off hooking it up again.

Well a few fittings and about 10 minutes of hooking it up and I was bottling straight off the keg with no massive foam overs, spills or leaks. I've been using the plastic tube shoved in the keggerator tap method for a while but this is much easier and cleaner.

It worked as promissed, straight out of the box with no hassels at all. Really nice to get a product that exceeds expectations once and a while.

Cheers DK

I know I'm slack, when I purchased the beer gun I didnt really let the financial controler (read ex girlfriend) in on the deal. Then I moved house, then I discovered the Tasty jam a piece of tubing in the kegerator. So finally I got the fittings and hooked it up.

After using it and finding it so fucking easy and hassell free all I can ask myself is why did I not hook it up for so long? no excusses, bloody good product and way less mess than the Tasty method (no offence Tasty)

Love my beer gun, esp. for comps and emptying out the remains of a keg that is soon needed. Really enjoy pouring sediment free beer out of bottles too!
