Nylon Gas In Tubes

Tue May 11, 2010 3:42 pm

I have to replace some gas in dip tubes on kegs the have the smaller, nylon gas in tube that is no longer available.

This tube is about 1/4" OD with a flat flared end instead of the 5/16" OD that is sold by most of the homebrew shops.

Is there an inexpensive source for short pieces of stainless (or copper?) tubing like this? (see item "F" in the below diagram)

http://www.dresselbrew.com/Keg_Info.htm

Or can you scrap the whole gas-in dip tube and just put a slightly thicker O-ring under the post and call it good?

Anyone run across this and find a solution?

Nevermind - this did not pop up with "search", but it does appear if you dig around the William's site
