SS keg of course, the male part of the post you screw onto, not the post part that holds the poppet. The base where it attaches to the body of the keg is where the leak is. The plastic black top part of the keg surrounds the posts that is what got me thinking some type of epoxy might work. Oh well, I'll just pass it on to KidHop and tell him it's good to go.

Yeah. I really don't understand how you can tell it is leaking from that specific spot you mentioned if you have the keg assembled. If you did have the keg disassembled, then how did you pressurize it to check for leaks? Something doesn't seem to be adding up.

No. Take it to a scrap yard. The stainless is worth a decent amount and it'll get you partway to a new keg.

Substitute "rubber" for "plastic" in my posts. Brain fart, don't know why I called it plastic.

then it sounds like the dip tube o-ring; or perhaps the post o-ring. just replace em both as they cost .10 each and give piece of mind. don't forget the food grade lube.
