I bought some dispensing stuff and have questions.

Long story short, my mother in law hooked me up with a woman selling some "beer tap stuff" as she called it. I bought what she had. Here's the list:

- CO2 tank (5lb) with gas
-single gauge regulator
-gas line
-beer line
-single tap tower
-faucet
-tap handle




I paid $30 for everything above.

I need to get a Corny, a mini-fridge, and some Corny kegs.

Here is the labeling on the gas line. Is this quality or not?


This is a lever under the gas regulator. Is this a check valve to shut off gas to the keg without turning the knob on the CO2 tank?


This piece is what makes me scratch my head. It's obviously not setup for Corny kegs. This must be for half barrel type kegs?

Yes to all of your questions, that last pic is to connect to a Sanke keg.

As a minimum, replace the beer line, no idea if it was cleaned properly before it was stored, and how long it has been stored.

Get some cornies and put that shit to work brotha.....Nice score on all the gear!!!!

OBTW, that little plastic O-ring that is on the side of the main gas knob, is supposed to be between the regulator and the tank, it may be a spare.....but don't loose it!

I would even say replace the gas line, who knows what critters might have found their way in there, or at least give it a good cleaning.
I'm actually meaning critters when I say this as in spiders, let alone if there any microscopic things got in.

Cool. Thanks guys. I get paid tonight so I'm going to place an order with MoreBeer for a 5gal Corny keg, some beer line, and connectors for the kegs. I'll keep this Sanke attachment handy in case I need it for future use. I don't think I'll have enough cash to get a mini-fridge so that will have to wait until the following paycheck unless I find another deal. I just bottled up a dunkelweizen. I might pick up another kit locally and get that going in time to keg it in two weeks. Would be a shame to have a kegerator setup but no beer to put in it.

Pretty sure I can get a single Corny, connectors, and a mini-fridge for $170. I'm going to try to keep it at a $200 budget for everything, just to see how thrifty I can get. The fridge will be the most expensive part.

Keep checking your local Craigslist for cheap fridges/freezers.
