opening up a stainless ball valve

Sat Mar 11, 2017 10:33 am

I have been trying to open this stainless ball valve to clean out all the shit in there but for the life of me it won't open. I have another valve just like it and it opened fine so I know it can be done. Any ideas? I had 2 crescents on there. I am going to probably just order a 3 part clamp to replace but still want to get this f'er open out of principle.

To follow up on Kbar's comment, get a 3-piece stainless steel ball valve and clean it frequently.
