After about 200 ten gallon batches, my PhilMill I finally bit the dust.

Two tons of grain I figure have gone past that little tiny roller. The knurling still looks as good as new too.

Thank goodness this was on the last 3 lbs of my annual summer 2bbl run and not the first 3 lbs. I actually tried crushing some with the side of a beer bottle like I used to do and remembered why I stopped doing that!

At least now I have a few months to shop around and find my mill for the next ten years. Don't worry, I'm not going to ask which one to get. I know everyone loves the mill they have, and they all do the job perfectly well.

Send an email off to Dan Listermann. He guaranteed those things for life. He fixed my PhilMill I for free a couple years ago when the bearings went out. Can't hurt to ask.
