Even with my 5gal kitchen system I have move more hot liquid around manually than I would like. I have to get the full boil kettle from below the gravity fed MT/LT to the burners. I have yet to have a mishap (knock wood), and I'd like to keep it that way. 140-160f sugar water can be quite painful running down your front.
I HAVE had a minor burn or two from lifting the HLT up to about 5ft off the ground. When I move to 10gal I will pump.
