Gift ideas for that special home brewer?

I was thinking of getting my giftee started with an outdoor gas burner? What should I be looking for?

His setup is still pretty bare bones.

Any other ideas / must haves?

You definitely want the KAB4 model. The KAB5 is a little underpowered from what I have read. I just purchased the KAB4 a couple days ago and am waiting delivery.

Other "must haves" include a good wort chiller and an AutoSiphon. In order to encourage him to do starters, get him a stir plate and a big flask.
