OK, found the parts I needed at the local plumbing wholesale for my float switch. I had to go with brass, but should work fine.

Made a bracket to weld to the control panel arm.

Put in the sprinkler valve.

1/2" Copper tubing with a 1/2" to 1/8" adapter. Turned out the float switch was actually 1/8"
Image
Made a holder with a screw type conduit fitting. Works really well. I had to file out the inside of the fitting as the manufacturing process left a pretty substantial lip, which is probably by design.

Here is the arm, and tube mounted.

So they way it works is the bottom switch on my control panel lets me switch between ON-OFF-Float. So I adjust the float arm up to where I want it(will measure and add marks later), flip the switch and it fills to the float switch. Or I can just turn the water on. Later I will add a relay that will change the on setting to sparge. I can then subtract the amount of water I want to sparge with and lower the float switch to that level( i.e. start with 10G need 5G lower arm from 10 to 5.) The HLT pump will shut off when the right amount is reached.

My pilots should be here this week as well. That's pretty much all I have, the brewery will be done.

The temp switch controls the Jet Burner under the HLT

I need to put in labels for the switches. Maybe soon.

Left switch is for HLT pump
ON
OFF
Float Switch

Right Switch is for Wort pump
ON
OFF
(future upgrade potential)

Lower center switch is for Float Switch
HLT Fill - OFF - Sparge

Hole on top is not assigned to any action at this time.

Hey Mike, nice work. I will have to come down and check it out sometime. I like the pump covers. I need to do something like that on my Brutus clone.

Those covers would work great the way you have your pumps.

We should get together soon and have a beer or brew day man!

Thanks. I'm going to be making some more mods. I'm going to be changing the stand and building a new mash tun. I've been using the SS braid for a while, but it is giving me problems with larger grain weight. I have 2 false bottoms on order, and will be ordering some Tri-Clover fittings probably today.
