2.10 per ft...ouch

How long does it last? I guess if it's rated for those high temps it would last as long as the silicone lasts. Has anyone worn any of this tubbing out?

I wear through a few a night. Ahem wrong tubing .Over time the silicone tubing will crack and pick up colors. Heat isnt an issue its pressure. I was using some on a water valve and shut the water off at the tank. The weakest place in the tube started to blow up like a baloon. I reopened the valve and all was safe. I didnt want to see what would have happend.

how much will it expand? I have a second pump, but the fittings are strange and I need to be able to pull the tubing over the inlet which is like an inch wide.

You wont be able to stretch it over that far, but you could get a reducer to go from 1" down to half inch. You'll want to put ball valves on the output of your pumps anyways to control flow rates.
For pumping, you really wont have that much pressure on i anyways since you'll be controlling the outflow rate, so unless something gets really clogged up, you shouldnt have a problem.

30 ft? where are you running it to, inside the house? I have 15 ft of it and that works fine for my setup. And yes it isnt cheap either, but it stays pliable in almost any conditions. My last brew day was about 15* (nice day) :) , and it stays flexible, now with the reinforced hardware tubing, that stuff got so stiff i could hardly bend it or attach to anything.

chase, be careful when using silicone tubing under pressure. it's not rated for it at all. if you have silicone on the pump line and you throttle the flow after the tubing, it'll blow up like a big 'ol balloon... spraying hot wort all over yourself is not really recommended.

Yep. Mine like many others are threaded right onto the output end of the pump. That should be all the restriction you need for sparging or cooling adjustment.
