Budapest, Hungry

Any ideas for brewpubs/restaurants to visit or bottles that are a must buy?

Budapest is a wonderful city. The food is amazing, the people are friendly, the beer is...well, they're more of a wine and liquor drinking people, so I don't remember any good local beer. I haven't been since the late 90's, so I can't recommend any specific places, but when in Budapest it's hard to go wrong!

I've been there a few times since the first post, and I haven't found any local place that is amazing, even though they drink a ton of beer. I felt Prague had a better variety and quality of beer. However, there is quite a bit of local wine that is cheap. I would say that going to the baths is a must-do while you are there.
