I think he's saying his friend is from Seattle and is willing to trade Craft beer from the area in exchange for skerrydude's homebrew.

I would have him pick up some Reuben's brew, fremont, black raven, Airways brewing... They all have great IPA if that is what you wanted. I am missing a ton of breweries, but Bdawg can expand on this list.

Yes, my friend lives in Seattle and is willing to exchange commercial beers from there for my homebrew. He does not drink hoppy beers, so he can not offer me any advice on what to try. While I do enjoy hoppy beers, I try to obtain a variety, as I would prefer to try some well made styles of beers even if I may not particularly enjoy that style. Or else I would always end up with all IPA's and pale ales... Who is doing good Belgians out there? Does anyone have a sour program up and running? There seem to be a lot of craft distillers out there, is anyone using local barrels? Does anyone make a maibock out there?

Porkslapper, has black raven started bottling? I believe they were mostly/exclusively draft when I was out there for NHC. Anything specific from any of those breweries?
