pest control

Sat May 30, 2009 4:30 pm

Found a few aphids today on some of the upper leaves of the Sterling and Nugget hops. Made a very light mix of organic soap n water then misted the plants. any other good ideas for this pest and the inevitable spider might? I had thought that growing plants to attract aphid preditors might be neat.

Ladybugs where going to be my alternate option if things got nasty. I like nasty. Just not with my hops. Thanks for the info. What about the spider mites? I was reading up n found the LBs weren't quite as effective
