Hey guys,
Wanted to pick some brains on here about whirlpool hopping. I have gone to using whirlpool hop additions and have noticed a huge difference in flavor and aroma. The downside to this is I have noticed with the larger late additions creating more floating hop matter that ends up in the fermenter and makes for a rather vigorous and messy fermentation. Has anyone used a hop bag and seen the same results as just tossing pellets into the boil kettle after flameout?
